Heather Bambrick is a JUNO-nominated vocalist, voice actor, and broadcaster who’s collaborated with Fred

Hersch, Gene DiNovi, Guido Basso, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard, Phil Nimmons, Ian Shaw, Ofra Harnoy,

the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Her shows have

been described as “Carol Burnett meets Ella Fitzgerald at a Newfoundland kitchen party”, featuring music

ranging from jazz standards and pop hits to Newfoundland folk music and sitcom theme songs. Add to this

accomplishments in music have been celebrated in various ways, from the “Jazz Vocalist of the Year” honour

at Canada’s National Jazz Awards to the 2026 SING! Toronto “Legacy Award”.

     Heather has released four solo recordings, all of which were nominated for Jazz Recording of the Year at the

East Coast Music Awards, including You’ll Never Know, which was also nominated for JUNO Award for Vocal

Jazz Recording of the Year. Her most recent recording, Fine State was praised by critics and fans alike as her

best work to date. Heather has also released albums with vocal ensembles the Beehive Singers and

Broadsway (both of which she co-founded) and has been a featured artist on recordings from Carol Welsman,

the Breithaupt Brothers, Peter Appleyard, Ofra Harnoy, the Nimmons Tribute, and others.

Heather is also one of Canada’s top voice actors - on such shows as Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Superbuns,

Wild Kratts, Justin Time, Hotel Transylvania, and others - and an award-winning broadcaster, hosting and

producing shows on Toronto’s JAZZ.FM91 for some 25 years.

     JUNO Award winning guitarist Jocelyn Gould “has quickly become an international favorite with her hard swinging, imaginative approach and technical mastery” (Joe Lang, Jersey Jazz Magazine). Her joyful energy has captivated music fans around the world and her passion for music is as infectious as her unique ability to connect with audiences. Jocelyn has absorbed the influences of the jazz guitar greats and has woven them into an exciting personal sound, citing Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, Joe Pass, and Kenny Burrell as primary influences on the guitar. Jocelyn’s debut album, Elegant Traveler, won the 2021 JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Solo. Her albums Sonic Bouquet and Portrait Of Right Now were nominated for 2024 and 2025 JUNO Awards for Jazz Album of the Year: Solo.

     2025 saw Jocelyn tour full time as a leader and supporting musician throughout Europe, North America and Japan playing in venues such as Massey Hall in Toronto, Birdland and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in New York City, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Pizza Express SOHO in London, UK, Le Duc Des Lombards in Paris, and Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen. She released a solo guitar and voice album in the fall of 2025, which is her 5th release as a leader. 2026 will see Jocelyn continue to tour internationally and release her 6th album, So Delighted, which is her first organ trio album. Jocelyn has performed and recorded as a supporting musician with GRAMMY-nominated vocalist Freddy Cole, JUNO-winning trumpeter and vocalist Bria Skonberg, DownBeat Trombonist of the Year Michael Dease, Etienne Charles, Caity Gyorgy, Benny Benack III, Jon Gordon, Rodney Whitaker, Will Bonness, Randy Napoleon, Diego Rivera and many more.

     Jocelyn is an experienced educator and was a full time professor and the Head of Guitar Department at Humber College in Toronto from 2019-2024. She is the guitar faculty at the Brevard Jazz Institute in North Carolina and the Seiko Summer Jazz Camp in Tokyo, Japan. She has been a guest artist at Jazz Institute Berlin, the Leeds Conservatory of Music, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Michigan State University, University of South Carolina, North Eastern State University, Ohio University, University of North Carolina, Broward University, and others.

     A leading voice in Canadian jazz for over two decades, JUNO Award-winning alto and soprano saxophonist Tara Davidson has established and distinguished herself through her work as a performer, bandleader, composer, arranger, and educator. As a bandleader, Davidson has produced eight recordings since 2004 and performed on over

forty recordings as a side musician. Six of her recordings as a leader or co-leader (Carn Davidson 9) have been nominated by the JUNO Awards for “Jazz Album of the Year”. Davidson has been associated with nine additional JUNO nominations for her work as a side musician with Sarah Jerrom’s “Magpie”, the Nancy Walker Quartet, Ernesto Cervini's "Joy" project, Andrew Downing’s Otterville, Ernesto Cervini’s Turboprop (x2), the Mike Murley Septet, CBC Records’ “Jazz Legends Live” project, and Jens Lindemann’s Order of Canada Band (Yamaha Big Band member). In 2020, Davidson won a JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Group as a member of Ernesto Cervini’s Turboprop.

     Some of Davidson’s other honours include being selected as the lead alto saxophonist for the Canadian National Jazz Orchestra in 2022 and for the European Broadcasting Union’s European Youth Jazz Orchestra in 2008, being selected as one of five finalists in the Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz saxophone competition in 2008, and being nominated for the Louis Applebaum Composers Award in 2026. In 2013, Davidson was awarded the Ontario Arts

Council’s Chalmers Professional Development Grant to study with saxophone legend, Dick Oatts, in New York City.

     Davidson also enjoys a diverse freelance career as a woodwind player (saxophones, clarinets, flute, and piccolo). She has worked with musical theatre companies such as Mirvish Productions in Toronto, the Stratford Festival, the Shaw Festival, and the Musical Stage Company, and with such symphonies as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the National Ballet Orchestra. Studio and performance opportunities have allowed Davidson to perform alongside such artists as Oliver Jones, Joel Frahm, Tommy Banks, Jens Lindemann, Jazzmeia Horn, Danilo Pérez, Wycliffe Gordon, Dave Douglas, Shirley Bassey, Ingrid Jenson, Christine Jensen, and The Yellowjackets. Davidson is an active educator on faculty at the University of Toronto and York University.

     Megan Jutting is a lead trumpet player based in Hamilton/Toronto. After completing a B.Mus. from Humber College, she has been active in the jazz large ensemble and Latin scenes. Most recently, she has been playing with Charles y sus Estrellas (Charles Guzman), the Toronto Jazz Orchestra (Josh Grossman), the Jazz Connection Big Band (Simon Wheeldon), Whitney Smith's Big Steam Band, and the Dennis Kwok Jazz Orchestra, as well as the Haldimand Norfolk Concert Band (Joanne Romanow). She has also played in musical theater performances with the Burlington Student Theater (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, 2023 and Crazy for You, 2024) and Theater Ancaster (Cabaret, 2023). Other playing highlights include playing with the Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra (Mason Victoria), Socialist Night School (Chelsea McBride), Octorock (Liam Gallagher), Chris Hunt 10tet, After Hours Jazz Band (HASJB organization) and Yani Borrell El Elegante de la Salsa.

     Alberta-born Colleen Allen plays all saxes, flute, and clarinet. She is top call in Toronto for jazz performances, festivals, and recording projects. She has performed extensively with Molly Johnson, David Clayton Thomas, Holly Cole, Emilie-Claire Barlow, and Brian Barlow's Big Band. Recent recordings include Hilario Duran's JUNO and Latin GRAMMY award winning big band featuring Paquito D'Rivera. Whether touring with the celebrated Marc Jordan, teaching in Humber College's esteemed Jazz Studies Program, or artistic directing jazz festivals, Colleen is considered one of the most cherished musicians on the Canadian music scene. A dynamic solo performer and flawless ensemble musician, Colleen is a world-class musician whose musical talents have touched many audiences around the globe.

     Hailing from an eclectic musical background, multi-instrumentalist Emily Ferrell is a dynamic performer and passionate educator on the Toronto music scene. Greatly valued for her versatile sound, Emily is an Honours graduate of Humber College’s Bachelor of Music program for trombone. Having performed in an extensive array of musical settings spanning many genres in a diverse freelance career, she has toured through many major national festivals and has been nominated for JUNO awards 4 times. Emily is also keenly invested in music education with two decades of teaching experience in both private and group settings. She teaches an annual roster of more than 30 piano students of all ages, and is often sought out by other music teachers in academic programs to work with middle and high school students
